Drain Clearing
We know how annoying a blocked drain can be, but at Flow Drain Services we specialise in getting to the root of the issue and solving it with minimal damage to your plumbing system. Unlike other plumbers, we use a state of the art hydro jetting system paired with our CCTV drain camera to figure out the cause of the blockage and clear it.
How can we help?
Inspection and Diagnosis
A CCTV drain camera is often used to inspect the pipes and pinpoint the location and cause of the blockage. This might reveal tree root intrusions, debris build-up, grease, or structural issues in the pipes.
High-Pressure Water Jetting
A high-pressure water jetter is used to blast away debris, tree roots, and other obstructions. This tool is highly effective for both sewer and stormwater systems, as it can clear blockages without damaging pipes.
Drain Augers (Snakes)
For stubborn or specific blockages, a drain auger or electric eel may be used to break up or remove obstacles. This mechanical tool has a rotating head that helps cut through blockages, including tough tree roots.
Root Cutting
If tree roots are a recurring issue, a specialised root-cutting attachment can be used to slice through the roots. In some cases, chemical root treatment is also applied to slow root regrowth.
Pipe Repairs
If the inspection reveals damage or severe blockages that can’t be resolved by the above methods, we can quote you on repair or replacement.
Preventative Maintenance
For properties with frequent issues, regular maintenance, such as jetting and CCTV inspections, can help prevent blockages from recurring.

CCTV
Drain Inspections
Our high tech CCTV drain inspection equipment makes drain cleaning fast, easy and efficient. Our camera will show us the cause of the blockage, taking all the guesswork out of drain cleaning and ensuring minimal damage to your plumbing system.
Why use a CCTV camera?
Precise Diagnosis
A CCTV camera provides a real-time view inside the pipes, allowing us to locate blockages, cracks, tree roots, or structural damage precisely. This eliminates the guesswork and ensures an accurate diagnosis of the issue.
Totally Non-Invasive:
Rather than digging up pipes or damaging property to locate a problem, a CCTV camera inspection is non-invasive. The camera is inserted through an access point, meaning there’s minimal disruption to landscaping, driveways, or floors.
Saves Time and Money
Because the camera inspection pinpoints the issue, we can focus repairs on specific areas, reducing the time and cost associated with traditional methods. This is especially useful for larger properties or complex drainage systems.
Effective for All Drain Types
CCTV inspections can be used in both residential and commercial drains, including sewer, stormwater, and wastewater pipes. It’s versatile and effective across various pipe materials and sizes.

Repair & Replacement
Drain Works
Over time, drains can become damaged due to tree root intrusion, blockages, ground movement, or general wear and tear. When issues arise, prompt and professional repair or replacement is crucial to prevent further damage, costly repairs, or disruptions to property.
How can we help?
Excavation
Digging down to remove and replace the old pipe with a new one, which is sometimes necessary for pipes that are fully collapsed or severely damaged.
Backfilling and Restoration
Once the repair or replacement is complete, any excavated areas are backfilled, and surfaces like driveways, lawns, or landscaping are restored to their original condition.
Final Testing and Inspection
After the repair or replacement, the drain is tested to ensure proper flow and functionality. A final CCTV inspection may be conducted to confirm that the repair or replacement is successful.
